We hold multiple ANSYS Mechanical licenses, which support the engineering process when an in-depth stress analysis is required to understand a particular problem, in particular level III assessments to API 579.

As well as classic stress analysis looking at structural integrity problems, the use of FEA tackles the study of complex deterioration mode such as creep, corrosion, fracture and fatigue. The outputs of our FEA analysis feed the inputs into these types of fit for purpose evaluations.

As a matter of course, we consistently keep up-to date with the latest guidance and rules concerning the use of FEA in line with pressure system codes such as the ASME standards and British Standards and European codes.
