Axiom Engineering Associates were delighted to make a surprise visit to a local school this week to make an donation, following their outstanding success at a recent business awards ceremony.
As winners of the North East Process Industry’s “Engineering Firm of the Year”, Axiom received a cheque for £2000 donated by the TTE Training Group, in order to fund a science-related project at a local school. Axiom chose Ian Ramsey CE Academy in Stockton as the recipient of this cheque.
The donation was made at a presentation by Steve Grant of TTE to Ian Ramsey Academy in the presence of Axiom’s Nicola Humble and Felix O’Hare from NEPIC.
Rob Johnson, Axiom director said, “We are proud to nominate Ian Ramsey Academy. This award will help attract young people to the Science and Engineering fields. These fields are vital to the UK economy and we need to inspire the next generation to choose science and engineering as a career. We hope that this initiative supports the school with their chosen science project to capture the interest and enthusiasm of our future, local talent.”
