Our History

Established in 2003, Axiom Engineering Associates operates globally from our headquarters in the Tees Valley, North East England. Working with owners and managers of industrial and manufacturing assets, we provide professional engineering expertise in materials, mechanical engineering, inspection and NDT.

Axiom was established to provide materials and mechanical engineering support to companies with limited technical resources and to plug the skill gap left in many companies following restructuring and rationalisation programmes across the 1990’s and 2000’s.

With extensive experience working for key multinational organisations, the company evolved to offer additional services including inspection and NDT.

Today, the business comprises of workshops, laboratories and engineering functions. We now have over 50 industry professionals providing advice and services across all process and industrial sectors such as: chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, power generation, renewables, transport and automotive.

As well as serving the industries located within the major process hub of the Tees Valley, North East England, our regular geographical client base has spread across the UK and into central and Southern Europe as well as Scandinavia. Our asset management software and systems are licenced into Asia. Our engineering knowhow has been sought and applied in Australasia, the Caribbean, North & South America.

We believe that correct and effective health and safety practices start with the leaders of an organisation, which is why our Directors are actively involved with our rigorous health and safety requirements, making sure our employees and clients are always protected.

Our team has built up vast experience of dealing with Health and Safety practices in the industry and are proud to possess prestigious,

internationally recognised HSE qualifications including:

  • CCNSG Safety passport for site operational employees
  • ROSPA accredited training courses in a wide range of safety related topics including COSHH, Manual Handling, PUWER and Fire Safety
  • IPAF – Mobile platform operation
  • IRATA – Rope access operation
